Rabbiting gypsy asks court for cash discount on poaching fine


“A GYPSY caught poaching rabbits red-handed tried to negotiate a knock-down price on his fine in return for paying cash.

John Price, who with Thomas Levi Rogers was found with two dead rabbits and a hare, reckoned a £100 fine and £25 victim surcharge was too steep, so made Stroud Magistrates’ an offer for cash in hand.”
